Summary of the role
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is a registered charity which provides market-leading qualifications in wines, spirits and sake in 17 languages. Our qualifications are offered via a network of over 700 centres (Approved Programme Providers) in more than 70 countries.
WSET Awards is the awarding body division of WSET, responsible for the creation, processing and quality assurance of assessments leading to WSET qualifications.
Overall responsibility: Assessments Team Co-ordinator
Subject to the instructions of the Assessments Manager, to:
- ensure the accurate and timely processing of examination orders and the issue of candidate results for WSET qualifications with maximum efficiency in terms of customer service, quality and quantity of output;
- deputise for the Assessments Manager as required;
- identify and implement process improvements in examination-handling and candidate record management, in consultation with other stakeholders.
