Summary of the role

Description

NOCN is a leading regulated Awarding Organisation and an Apprentice Assessment Organisation, it is a Leader in Diversity and a progressive educational charity which seeks to make learning matter by creating opportunities. As part of its recent business expansion, it is seeking two qualified and experienced Quality Assurance professionals:

  • Assurance Executive (Permanent): £26,000
  • Senior Assurance Executive (Maternity cover, one year): £32,960

The roles involve coordinating activity and providing expertise and operational support to ensure that NOCN’s internal and external policies, processes and procedures are fully compliant and quality assured for the UK and internationally.

The roles will monitor and report on the efficiency of NOCN’s assurance systems to ensure continuous improvement and development. 

They will report to and assist the Head of Assurance in ensuring that NOCN is compliant with the various UK Qualification Regulators and General Conditions of Recognition and Principles of Recognition. They will also ensure that NOCN is undertaking UK apprenticeship and other assessments in a manner which is compliant with the relevant requirements set by the Regulatory bodies.

Key areas of responsibility will include: audit and investigations, product and policy review, data management and reporting, monitoring delivery, high risk qualification applications, training provision and standardisation support.

Key Skills and experience

The ideal applicants will be educated to degree or equivalent level, possess management and teaching qualifications and hold an Assessment or Quality Assurance qualification. They will be experienced in a regulated environment, can deliver effective training and work with deserve teams. Good verbal and written skills are essential, as is the ability to plan, manage and prioritise a busy, complex workload.
