Summary of the role

The role

NCC Education is expanding further globally and require a Business Development Manager to grow the business by promoting the full range of NCC Education's qualifications from its Digi computing qualification for students from age 5 years and upwards, to higher education qualifications from foundation to Master’s level. The Business Development Manager will, in particular, focus on NCC Education’s online top-up degrees, namely the: (i) NCC Education BA (Hons) Business Administration, validated and awarded by the University of Worcester; and (ii) the NCC Education BSc (Hons) Business Computing and Information Systems, validated and awarded by the University of Central Lancashire. The Business Development Manager will recruit students for NCC Education’s online top-up degrees and build strategic level relationships with Accredited Partner Centres.

The candidate

We are keen to hear from candidates who have experience in B2B and B2C sales to work independently and with the team globally to proactively identify and qualify new leads for a healthy pipeline of new online students and business opportunities with new partners.

You must have a highly focused and effective approach for leads generation and proven track record to manage sale to closure as well as the ability to negotiate contracts for new business sales.

You will work in conjunction with the Regional Sales Director to set out the annual budget and regional objectives. You will implement direct sales strategies for direct student recruitment. You will also regularly review Partner Growth Plans with Accredited Partner Centres to ensure that NCC Education is providing the appropriate level of support and to cross-sell and up-sell NCC Education’s suite of qualifications. A good understanding of changing market needs is required to provide input for the development of the regional marketing and sales strategy.

You are required to maintain an accurate sales forecast and pipeline and meet challenging sales targets.

You must be self-motivated, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills, be dynamic, organised and passionate about education. The abilitt tocultivate strong internal and external relationships based on collaborative working is essential, as are strong communication and presentation skills. You must be fluent in spoken and written English and willing to travel on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast paced environment with a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Working in a matrix structure across different regions and cultures would be an added advantage.
