We are now looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Business Development Manager to lead in the generation and development of new business (sales) for the organisation.

 The Job:

Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development you will be responsible for developing and implementing lead generation plans to generate new business to business enquiries across a range of target markets including FE Colleges, private training providers, employers, schools and Voluntary/Community organisations. 

Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Officer you will have an active role in the promotion of our qualification and wider product offer to the range of training providers that use our provision and accreditation services.  You will also be responsible for completing research to identify potential new customers and for conducting sales calls and telemarketing activity to identified prospects.

We are looking for a professional with high levels of initiative, drive and proactivity with previous experience of achieving challenging targets in a business development / educational selling role.

The role also has a small amount of customer account management responsibility that will require the postholder to be able to provide ongoing support and advice to our customers about our products and services.

The post is full time and you will be based in our large modern office in Wolverhampton although you will be required to travel.
