Summary of the role
NOCN Cymru is the Welsh name for NOCN operations in Wales, delivering vocational and technical qualifications in a range of sectors. NOCN is a leading international Awarding Organisation, recognised by Ofqual and QiW, it is a leading apprentice assessment provider in England. NOCN is a registered Charity and a not for profit organisation, committed to delivering high quality products and services to the FE sector, employers, learners and apprentices. We are looking for a Welsh Speaker, who has experience in Quality Assuring Regulated Qualifications and Endorsed programmes.
- To provide support to NOCN approved centres delivering products and services through assessment, training and testing;
- To deliver a customer centric approach to quality and verification as defined by NOCN quality assurance strategy;
- To promote and share good practice in the assessment and testing process that standardises the consistency of NOCN product delivery and meets the requirements as detailed by the relevant regulators and schemes;
- To identify fraud and malpractice in the delivery of qualifications, EPAs or Accredited/endorsed programmes.
Key requirements, knowledge, skills and experience:
You must have a good working knowledge of best practice in Training and Competency Qualifications. Ideally, you will have a qualification in EQA, or a qualification in Internal Quality Assurance and experience in operating as an Internal Quality Assurer.
Training and support will be provided to any successful applicants to ensure they are successful. NOCN has an ongoing programme which is training and qualifying EQAs
