Summary of the role

AIM Awards is a registered charity operating as an awarding organisation, Access to HE validating agency and end point assessment organisation.  We have a head office based in Derby and are dedicated to offering a high quality, efficient and effective service whilst remaining supportive and accessible.

Summary of the role:

We are currently recruiting freelance examiners for our Level 3 Extended Diploma and Diploma in Games, Animation and VFX Skills. The qualifications include two externally marked examinations: a core principles exam in year one and a case study exam in year 2. There is a requirement to attend mandatory training once per year.

 Who are we looking for?

 You will need to mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained

·        You will be required to submit samples to AIM Awards at designated times

·         You will need to ensure milestones for marking are adhered to

·         You will work accurately and consistently, and at times to tight timescales.

·         You will ensure all administration is completed as specified

 

Skills and experience required:

·         You will ideally have a degree or equivalent industrial experience

·         You will have teaching/training experience of the relevant subject and level

·         You will have experience of marking
