As an approved End-Point Assessment Organisation, YMCA Awards are passionate about learning and assessment and have been a well-recognised Awarding Organisation for over 20 years. Our qualifications support every learner, whether taking their first steps into fitness or simply wishing to boost their skills and our end-point assessment is robust, ensuring you are ready for your chosen industry. Our high quality resources and assessment materials have been created by leading industry experts in consultation with employers and training providers.
In February 2018, YMCA Awards was accepted onto the ESFA’s Register of End-Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs) and is developing resources and supporting materials available for all standards and end-point assessments we are approved to deliver.
Our Freelance Independent End-Point Assessors are responsible for determining whether apprentices have met the requirements of an apprenticeship standard through end-point assessment. As a Freelance Independent End-Point Assessor, you will use your occupational knowledge and assessment expertise to grade each activity outlined in the assessment plan.
To be effective in this role you will need to:
- hold an assessing qualification
- have up to date and demonstrable industry experience as a leisure duty manager
- have good organisational and planning skills
- be familiar with the Leisure Duty Manager apprenticeship standard
