Summary of the role

If you have the commercial focus to lead the development of high quality, educational products that meet the needs of our regulators and employers, we want to hear from you. You will already be working in an Awarding Organisation, FE College or similar educational environment and looking for a new challenge.

You will understand about qualifications, assessments and training and how to design and implement new products.

It is essential that you can lead and inspire a team to bring out their best. A flexible attitude is going to be essential as you move between industries and sectors, as is an innovative approach and the ability to nurture relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.

The role

As the Head of Product Development, you will be responsible for managing product development activity within NOCN. There are two main strands to the role:

  • Managing the development of products, qualifications, units and associated assessment and examination materials 
  • Managing the operational processes required for product, assessment and examination production, in line with regulatory and funding requirements 

As part of this role, you will lead a team of talented Product Executives and ensure that key internal relationships with other teams and external suppliers positively contribute to the successful development and launch of new products.
