Summary of the role
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is an international, not-for-profit organisation which is the world's largest provider of qualifications in wine, spirits and sake. Our headquarters are in the dynamic SE1 area of London (where this role will be based), but with subsidiary companies in USA and Asia. Our qualifications are offered via a network of over 800 centres (Approved Programme Providers) in over 70 countries. WSET Awards is the awarding body division of WSET, responsible for the creation, processing and quality assurance of the assessments that lead to our qualifications.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the management team of the WSET Awards department, managing and developing WSET's expanding qualification portfolio.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will manage the production of qualification specifications, reviewing and updating qualification content and implementing assessment solutions. Leading an eight-person team of subject specialists, you will be responsible for maintaining assessment standards and best practice, working with other members of the WSET Awards Management team to optimise qualification validity and availability.
