Summary of the role
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is an international, not-for-profit organisation which is the world's largest provider of qualifications in wine, spirits and sake. Our headquarters are in the dynamic SE1 area of London (where this role will be based), but with subsidiary companies in USA and Asia. Our qualifications are offered via a network of over 700 centres (Approved Programme Providers) in over 70 countries. WSET Awards is the awarding body division of WSET, responsible for WSET qualifications, quality assurance and compliance.
Head of Quality and Compliance, WSET Awards: overall responsibility
Reporting to the Director of WSET Awards you will lead WSET's Quality Assurance team, managing risk and compliance matters to maintain the integrity of WSET qualifications and meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our customers.
As a member of the WSET Awards Management Team, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing WSET's Quality Strategy, taking the lead on Ofqual compliance activity and maintaining WSET Awards' ISO 9001 accreditation. You will be responsible for WSET's centre registration and approval/renewal system, managing operational communications with our growing portfolio of centres across the world. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will help to ensure our qualifications are positioned correctly in market, facilitating business development while promoting WSET values and maintaining product quality.
