Summary of the role

Qualsafe Awards are recruiting for a Qualifications Development Manager (Clinical) predominantly to manage the design, development and review of new and existing first aid related qualifications as well as other related qualifications in the Health and Social Care sector. 

We are seeking someone who has excellent clinical knowledge who ideally understands assessment practice and qualification frameworks as well as regulatory requirements. You will use your established expertise, experience and communication skills to: 

  • design new qualifications in the area of first aid/health and social care;
  • engage with key stakeholders to review existing first aid qualifications (taking into consideration employer requirements and industry/sector changes); and
  • build strong relationships with internal colleagues to pull all elements of the qualification design, development and review process together.

The role will require innovation and creativity to design, develop and create qualification specific products and resources that maintain the integrity of regulated qualifications. You will be required to design new as well as develop and review existing assessments to make sure they are valid and reliable methods.

This position is ideal for someone from a clinical background who wants to make a real difference to an awarding organisation with a high regard in the industry
