This role is based in UAL Awarding Body. Its purpose is to support the design and development of new qualifications, and the review of existing qualifications, primarily for 14-19 year olds in full time education.
As Qualifications Officer, you will be the first point of contact for all qualification related queries, providing advice and guidance to colleagues and to customers. You will be responsible in undertaking qualification development and review activities and maintaining awareness of key policy changes and up-to-date UCAS and funding information for all UAL Awarding body qualifications within your areas of responsibility.

Educated to degree or an equivalent professional qualification, e.g. Project Management, you will commit to your own development through effective use of processes such as UAL’s excellent appraisal scheme and staff development opportunities. Ideally, you will have knowledge of/or the capacity to develop knowledge of Further Education (FE) qualifications and regulatory bodies, such as Ofqual.
You will certainly be an effective communicator, highly organised and a skilled problem solver. Capable of both working independently and collaboratively as part of a team, you will be able to supervise and motivate individuals, setting clear objectives to manage performance.
