NOCN is seeking to recruit a Senior Executive for Skills for Life. You will need to be able to work to deadlines whilst maintaining the quality and accuracy of your work. You will also be experienced with a high level of subject knowledge in the area of Skills for Life. Senior Executives are required to assess and develop papers at all levels.
The role of the Senior Executive for Skills for Life is to ensure all Functional Skills assessment processes are conducted to the standard required by NOCN Group. Including NOCN quality systems, procedures, documentation and reporting mechanisms, thus ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the awarding organisation and compliance with NOCN quality assurance requirements and regulatory standards.
To manage the overall quality assurance process for the production of Skills for Life assessments. To liaise with Principal Examiners to implement and report on the moderation of new assessment papers following release in line with the sampling strategy. To assist in the delivery and development of training to centres, markers and writers.
To effectively liaise and work with a range of teams within NOCN Group to ensure that any issues are identified and rectified in a timely manner and if a quality issue arises decide on the appropriate action within NOCN Group.
To collate and report on the annual performance of the Skills for Life area including statistical performance information. To oversee Principal Examiners Feedback and Remark reports for release to centres.
To represent the interests of the NOCN Group with stakeholders, Delivery Partners, centres and potential centres in a positive and professional manner and support the NOCN Group mission, vision and business objectives, as established in the business plan.
Undertake any other duties appropriate in relation to this role requested by either the Skills for Life Manager or Head of Department.
The post is office based, working from the main NOCN group head office and other venues when and where applicable. New Senior Executives are fully supported as part of the Assessment Team.
