The main responsibilities of this role are to support developing and embedding high quality culture and operational processes across NCC Education, putting learners at the heart of everything we do.
The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of the quality assurance and improvement systems and processes across the business. Supporting with the implementation of the quality strategy implementation plans to strategically and operationally improve business delivery processes in all operational areas.
To ensure the Academic Division focuses on raising and continually improving quality standards consistently for learners. To work alongside operational colleagues to achieve this, developing consistent high quality practices, promoting the expectation that quality is the responsibility of all colleagues, which is held in high regard and considered fundamental to success.
What You Will Be Doing
Perform an integral role in preparing for visits, assessments and audits from external stakeholders such as Ofqual, overseas regulatory bodies and partner Universities as well as supporting the preparation for annual quality assurance monitoring of our Partner Centres.
Recognise operational areas which could benefit from improvement, innovatively suggesting solutions and contributing to business cases where external resource is required.
Manage, contribute to and test the annual self-assessment and improvement planning process and submissions.
Writing of high quality, accurate reports such as annual self-assessment, Internal QA Audits, Assessment and Academic Board statistics and reports.
Service the external Academic Board and Partner Centre Feedback Group.
Investigate and report on cases of malpractice, maladministration, manage Post Results Services and report on Adverse Effects and Issues internally and externally where required.
You will have a degree in a Business, Computing or an English Language related subject.
Excellent analytical and report writing skills and highly developed IT skills, the ability to use a range of Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to present information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
Ability to develop effective professional relationships with all colleagues.
Be pro-active, able to work on own initiative and prioritise and manage own work load effectively and efficiently.
Experience of dealing with quality assurance systems would be a distinct advantage, preferably in an Awarding Organisation, School, and College or in Higher Education.
