This role will based in the London region. Our Head Office is in Newcastle upon Tyne.  We have a vibrant office and great team that you will visit every other month and who you will work closely with remotely.

A bit about the opportunity, our team and you…

About the opportunity 

You’ll provide advice and guidance to NCFE/CACHE Customers, supported by the promotion of NCFE/CACHE’s Products and Services to provide first class solutions and service. Engage with LEP’s and Provider Networks to understand Devolution to pro-actively support and influence Training Provider Organisations in the specified geographical area.  Based in the London region you will have responsibility for developing relationships with National LEPs and Provider Networks whilst also actively managing a portfolio of Independent Training Providers in the London region. 

Must have demonstrable relationships around Provider Networks and LEP’s and be able to show a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of funding developments, specifically AEB.

About our team

The Field Based Sales Team is a dynamic, sales focused team, which lives and works within their specific regional areas. The overall sales function is managed by the Head of Business Development, and the performance of the field based sales team is managed by the National Operations Manager. 

As a Skills and Employment Partnership Manager you will directly report into the National Operations Manager.

About you: 

Skills & Knowledge

  • full driving license
  • experience of working in a similar/comparable role
  • excellent telephone manner
  • excellent written and oral communication skills, including good grammar and spelling
  • demonstrable word processing, data entry, spreadsheet and email skills
  • attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • excellent report writing skills
  • excellent presentation skills

  • ability to develop and maintain working relationships, including networking, with a range of contacts

  • ability to identify and act upon business opportunities

  • ability to travel extensively, including regular overnight stays
