Summary of the role

The role

NCC Education is expanding further globally and require a Temporary Finance Officer for an initial period of 2 months. Based in our Head Office in Manchester, the Temporary Finance Officer will ensure the effective day to day performance of the Purchase Ledger processes.

You will maintain the purchase ledger, process and pay invoices per company policies and procedures as well as match and reconcile supplier account statements, in a timely and accurate manner.

You will be a team player, working within a small Finance team based in the UK and within a larger team based overseas. You will support colleagues with month-end bank and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as assisting colleagues with other accounting tasks commensurate with the role.

The candidate

We are keen to hear from candidates who have experience working in an accounts payable role. Candidates should have at least 1 year of working experience in a similar role and should ideally possess, AAT level 2 qualifications or equivalent.

Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills is essential and experience using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains v.10 is desirable. You must be commercially competent, self-motivated, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
