CCEA Regulation - New logo

CCEA Regulation also sent Responsible Officers the new logo which reflects the change of name to CCEA Regulation. It also provided new guidance on the permitted use of the logo and an updated version of Additional Certificate Requirements. (more follows)

Last week, the DfE AOVQ Group met to discuss matters relating to qualifications in the KS4 and KS5 performance tables.The meeting included a useful introduction by DfE which provided an overview of the direction of travel of the returning ministers in this education policy area.

RO36/2015 Closing the unit bank

Earlier today, Ofqual emailed regulatory letter RO36 – closing the unit bank to responsible officers. The letter encourages all awarding organisations (AOs) to permit the awarding organisations that are currently using shared units to treat those units as their own in the future.

RO35 – Calendar of known data requests 2015

Earlier this week, Ofqual issued regulatory letter RO35 and the calendar of known data requests for 2015. The letter states that if there are other data requests during 2015, for which Ofqual cannot currently plan, it will do its utmost to ensure that these requests ‘are not unduly burdensome and adequate notice is given’.
