This course provides delegates with an introduction to the theory of writing multiple choice questions, how questions are constructed and common errors to avoid in question development. Delegates will also have the opportunity to practice basic question writing during the course and discuss issues that arise with the tutor and other awarding body representatives.

The course is suited to those who have had some contact with multiple choice questions and need to understand when it is appropriate to use them as an assessment method, how they are constructed and the common pitfalls to avoid. The course will provide an opportunity for delegates to practice writing multiple choice questions.

The course will be taught online via Zoom.
