BCS End Point Assessment – Quality Management
During this session Alison will describe the challenges faced by BCS when recruiting new assessors within the Digital Apprenticeships sector and the rigorous processes and activities that BCS use to ensure the independence of assessors while maintaining consistency and rigour in assessment. She will discuss the processes that BCS have developed and the requirements BCS have for their assessors and the support and guidance that is made available to all stakeholders to successfully align to the professional standards of assessment and also for the digital standards and assessment plans developed by the sector employers.
Alison has worked in the IT and digital sector for over 25 years in vocational education, apprenticeships (frameworks) and also commercially prior to joining BCS in October. Alisons role is to maintain the quality of endpoint assessment by supporting internal and external stakeholders with the delivery and assessment of the new Digital Standards.
