FAB 2019: Conference, Awards and Exhibition!

DIVERSITY AND CHOICE IN QUALIFICATIONS

There are just under two weeks to go until FAB 2019 – Diversity and Choice in Qualifications – on 10th and 11th October at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester.

If you haven’t already booked your place at FAB 2019, here are three further reasons from your Chief Executive, Tom Bewick, on why you really cannot afford to miss this year’s event:

  1. We’ve reached a crucial stage in the review of qualifications at Level 3 and below. Proposed changes to how qualifications will be funded in future, including Level 4 and 5 qualifications, are set to have a significant financial impact on the majority of Awarding Organisations. By attending FAB 2019 you will get bang up to date information about where we are now with these important reviews and what is planned in future.
  2. The regulatory burdens placed on awarding organisations across the UK is growing. At FAB 2019, we will directly address this topic with all four regulators in the room. This is your chance to ensure better, smarter regulation of your AO.
  3. A general election (at some point soon…) is coming! Is your AO familiar with the shifting policy landscape and how a change in government could seriously impact your bottom line?

Accommodation at the Marriott Hotel for the night of the 10th is going fast, so register now to ensure you have the convenience of staying on site.

For group bookings you can request payment on receipt of invoice by emailing conference@awarding.org.uk
