Your Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualification & Assessment Manager, the position is office based in Derby with the potential for some remote working.

Playing a key role in ensuring the effective development, implementation and operation of BPEC’s products, including the End-point Assessments. The successful candidate will primarily lead on the AO and EPAO’s development function, there will be a requirement to project manage and lead on development and review activities within BPEC Certification, and the wider BPEC group of businesses.

Working closely with Industry technical experts you will lead and project manage the development and review of regulated and unregulated qualifications as well as end-point assessments. With responsibility for projects, from inception to implementation, you will need to utilise internal and external resources, including managing colleagues and associates.

You will lead and be responsible for the overall design, development and review of awarding organisation products. Manage performance, including the delivery of all qualifications, developments and assessments to time and quality.

You will also support on regulation, bids, tenders and partnerships for the wider team. With a key awareness of educational and sector developments, you will be able to quickly identify threats, and propose and lead on future business opportunities.

You will understand and identify customers/stakeholders needs, and work with the team to transfer this into differentiated, market leading products to realize our vision.

It’s critical that you hold expert knowledge and skills in product management, qualification and assessment design, development and delivery. You must also hold a thorough understanding of the education and assessment sector, as well as having up to date knowledge of UK educational reforms.

Your experience in budget management and operational planning and the proactive management of projects to produce high volumes of outcomes to time, quality and budget is a vital element of the role, where there is a need to balance short-term commercial imperatives with medium- and long-term opportunity realisation.
