Client Director

We are delighted to be recruiting two brand new Client Director positions to join our successful Sales business at City & Guilds Group.

Within these rewarding and hands on sales roles, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new £m+ profitable revenue for City & Guilds with a key focus on targeting and winning brand new revenue quickly across new and existing markets. In addition to this, you will work with sales colleagues across the business to secure growth in our largest customers. 

These roles will be offered as home based contracts and involve extensive travel across the UK owing to their client facing nature. 

About The Role 

As Client Director, you will use your expert influencing and networking skills to build a portfolio of key stakeholders as a means to bring in new £m+ profitable business that supports the City & Guilds strategy. You will have strong business development skills and be able to seek out new business development opportunities using a consultative and tailored approach that meets the clients needs. 

You will play a key role in ensuring that revenue and performance targets are met, figures are accurately forecasted and that the sales pipeline is strong. Your role will involve extensive stakeholder engagement both internal and external; identifying key influencers within chosen customer groups, regular pitches to new and existing customers and involvement in large stake bids.  

You will be the link between external customers and the internal stakeholders, therefore, communication is key to ensure effective knowledge transfer/identification of new business opportunities.

About You

You will be a seasoned sales professional with demonstrable experience in identifying and winning £m+ contracts. You will be expert at building a healthy contact strategy from scratch and comfortable with developing, initiating and implementing strategies and plans to target new business.  

It goes without saying, that you will be a self motivated, customer focussed individual who is able to work in a challenging and fast paced environment. You will be comfortable commanding conversations with c-suite individuals and be able to build and maintain relationships.
