Additionally, we have experienced exciting business growth and success in our ESOL International work over the past five years in Italy and Greece, resulting in the need for an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Manager Educational Delivery to join our dynamic Senior Management Team (SMT).

Based in Ormskirk, we are a progressive, forward-thinking employer. We are looking for an individual who will care as much about our learners achieving their potential, as we do.

You would be working closely with the Chief Executive who is an energetic, enthusiastic and enabling professional who leads colleagues to find and fulfil their potential and strategic direction. We are looking for an experienced senior manager who will have overall responsibility for our core business portfolio of Product Development, Quality Assurance and Assessment & Marking.

The successful candidate will fulfill the function of Chief Assessor, ensuring that commercially viable, customer centered assessment is of the highest quality and reputation amongst customers and regulators. They would present effective commercial proposals to the SMT via agreed written protocols and ensure SMT is briefed on changes to the landscape of the portfolio.

Applicants should have a relevant degree/professional qualification at level 5 or above and/or substantial experience is examining and assessment. They should have significant awarding body or other relevant educational experience in managing people and achieving strategic outcomes through empowering others.

What we offer
·      The post offered is permanent, full-time (5 days a week) subject to 6 months’ probationary period, with an attractive salary of £42,000 – 49,200.
·      Holiday entitlement of 28 days plus 8 public holidays per annum.
·      Excellent pension scheme (employer contributions of between 7.5%-12% of total earnings using a ‘Matching Design’. If an employee chooses to contribute more than 5% of gross pay, ESB will match their contribution by 1½ times up to a maximum amount of 12%).
·      Performance related pay of up to 4% annual salary increase.
