About the opportunity

The Assessment Design Officer has responsibility for the design, development, and performance of valid and reliable assessments within the NCFE portfolio. Through a cross functional role, they also need to ensure that assessments developed by NCFE and associated brands, are appealing to learners and employers and are manageable for those delivering the qualification.

The Assessment  Design Officer will contribute to ensuring compliance with all regulatory conditions relating to qualification assessment and for ensuring that appropriate criteria is met for funding and recognition.

About our team

The team is responsible for the design, development, and performance of valid and reliable assessments within the NCFE portfolio including associated brands.

About you:

experience of qualification, assessment and curriculum design principles
knowledge of current developments in education and assessment
knowledge of quality assurance procedures and issues within an education context
track record working with Awarding Organisations which offer external assessment
educated to at least Level 3 standard or equivalent
excellent written and oral communication skills, including good grammar and spelling
demonstrable word processing, data entry, spreadsheet and email skills
