As a member of the senior management team, you will be expected to represent the Federation in a range of external stakeholder forums and high-profile events. You will work very closely with awarding and assessment organisations, acting as the first point of contact for members on all policy and regulatory related matters. As an excellent communicator, you will write and appear regularly in the sector and specialist media, putting forward the Federation’s policy positions on a diverse range of issues, particularly those that affect the qualifications and assessments industry.

You will assist with the development of policy for the Federation under the direction of the Head of Policy and Strategy. This will include assisting with the development of the Federation’s policy which is expressed in a number of ways such as in guidance documents, media articles, responses to Government and other consultations.
You will liaise with members and other stakeholders to gather their views on policy matters to inform policy positions. The role undertakes various research and analysis as directed by the Head of Policy and Strategy; supporting activities to monitor the progress of any externally commissioned research.
You will have responsibility for ensuring key policy information is available to members through the Policy Lab section of the website and be involved in the production of weekly and ad-hoc policy communications to members and other stakeholders.

Your work will underpin the commercial strategy of the organisation, so experience in monetising websites and e-services will be highly sought.
Events and Administrative Assistant
